Holy shit! 3GB of demo, scenario editor and a lot of content to try. There’s a lot you can say about Bohemia Interactive but you can’t deny they do awesome demos.

Situation Normal, All Fucked Up
Released yesterday, America’s Army 3 is having one of those terrible launches that killed so many games in the recent years. AA3 is free err, payed by american taxpayers, so it will probably survive. Apart from the indoctrination, there’s some really fascinating stuff in training mode. You should probably get it on Steam, just wait they fix their current problems with auth servers (or...

BattleForge
You know what makes me sad? BattleForge was a fine small game, with some interesting design choices and a *feel* that was pretty close to Blizzard heaven. But it was produced by EA so they had to ruin it. And so they did: by using both a micropayment model and a full price release. That obviously didn’t work. Now they are trying to fix this by offering a free to play version with a starter...

Just for a sense of closure
Reading the comments about Wurm Online on RPS I’m starting to think there’s a market for games where the only long-term achievement is finding a complex and amusing death for your character.
