Wow, I’ve found my favourite Eve profession EVAR: Ninja Salvaging! what you need is basic salvaging and probing skills. You go to a big mission hub, fit a probing frigate (any racial with bonuses will do), expanded probe launcher and combat probes. You look for battleships in the system. Once you have a point you bookmark it, go back to station and pick a fast frigate with three highs (I’m using the Vigil, but a Rifter might be even better), put a bunch of salvager I on and warp to the point. Then you salvage the missions wreck you find, being careful of not getting aggroed by mobs. The mission runner CAN’T attack you while you’re salvaging his wrecks, UNLESS you steal loot from the wrecks. You can get a lot of crazy money for this, and it is awesome if you’re just starting out because it’s the highest amount of money you can do with low skills and you’re also learning probing which is an ability you may need later on. Pro mode would be stealing some of the valuable loot, but this let the runners aggress you. Might be worth it, but not just always.
